US$1.5M Post Seed Capital Programs now open to Qualifying Parties
Our kaupapa (objective) is to harvest three thousand tons of foliage in the first year under our 8 year harvesting rights on Kohumaru Manuka Station where our 450ha contracted harvesting area carrys circa 9,000 tons of foliage
From this 3,000 tons we expect to produce 9,000 kgs/lit of pure manuka oil for export to the US where our Related Affiliate will use the oil in our value adding process. Part of the value chain integration policy of the Co-Op.
The value adding company in the US is Tribal Manuka Inc and it currently has 12 products under development for release into the USMCA free trade zone. With pure manuka oil retailing in the US at circa US$22 per 10ml bottle, it is expected that the Tribal brand will enjoy a premium pricing advantage.
There are two post seed placements in progress to help achieve this kaupapa. (1) a Post-Seed round of US$500k and (2) a Series A round of US$1M. A US$1M "Spread group" crowdfunding campaign is planned to follow to provide a P2P share-price discovery and trading eco-sphere for all shareholders.
Come and have a koffee ' n korero at Mataatua House in Opotiki - so do feel free to drop in during normal business hours to have a chat about the manauka oil industry and the great yield available per ha.
